Description
Baha'u'llah father dreamed a very strange dream about his son. In the dream, he saw Baha'u'llah swimming in an enormous ocean. His body was shining, lighting up the ocean with a clear white light. His hair was floating out in all directions over the foaming waves. Then, in the dream, millions of fish came, and each fish grabbed the end of one of Baha'u'llah's hairs, and held it tight. Even though there were so many fish, and they were all holding on so tightly, not one of Baha'u'llah's hairs was torn out, and the fish did not bother him at all. He swam freely through the water and all the fish followed Him.
Mirza Buzurg, His father, felt that such an unusual dream must be very important, so he called a famous soothsayer to explain it.
The soothsayer told Mirza Buzurg that in the dream the ocean meant the world. He said that Baha'u'llah, all by Himself, would eventually rule over the whole world.
